Bellingua focuses its teaching on fast and motivated learners. 90% of our students have a higher degree (university level) and 75% are between 25 and 40 years old.

Class sizes

On average there are about 6 students per class, a maximum class size of 9 students is guaranteed in your contract.

Homogeneous groups

Regular assessments guarantee homogeneous groups: a test is taken after each unit and students must achieve adequate test results in order to continue the course.

Obtain a Goethe certificate

Thanks to expert teachers and effective tuition, we can guarantee that you will pass a Goethe or telc examination. This guarantee applies to anyone who successfully completes an appropriate course (with a grade of “satisfactory” or higher) and takes the exam within four months of the end of the course.

Assessment test

Every new student with existing knowledge of German goes through an extensive assessment. After discussing the test results with the new student the corresponding course and level is selected.

Variety of courses

For beginners, Bellingua runs regular intensive morning courses (five days a week, starting every three weeks), semi-intensive afternoon courses (two days a week, starting every six weeks), and semi-intensive evening courses (two days a week, starting every four weeks). Individual lessons can normally start within a week. Conversation training is also available. We offer courses at 12 different levels (A1 to C2).

Flexible course length

You are interested in a course that lasts 6 weeks? Or 34 weeks? You are free to choose the length of your German course.

Flexible contracts

Our contracts are cancellable thus ensuring both flexibility and motivated students. You can cancel your contract for any reason with only one week's notice to the end of a calendar week.

Central location in Zurich

The Bellingua German Language School is located on Löwenstrasse, in the center of Zurich, just 5 minutes on foot from the main station.

Starting mid-July Bellingua will be located even more centrally, just by the main station, on Zollstrasse.
